461st Lineage
Although the 461st was established on 19 May 1943, activated on 1 July 1943 and inactivated on 28 August 1945 after WWII ended, that was not the end of the 461st number - far from it. There have been several other organizations that have used the 461st number. This section of the website contains a brief description of each of these units.
